How often does the app sync to Shopee or Lazada?

The app is notified by Shopify whenever there is a change on a Shopify product. When the app is notified by Shopify, the app will sync stock, price, variants, title, description and images to Shopee (and Lazada).

For example:

  • when the stock changes on Shopify, Shopify will notify the app and the app will update the stock, price, variants, title, description and images on Shopee.
  • if you change the name of the product on Shopify, Shopify will notify the app and the app will update the stock, price, variants, title, description and images on Shopee.
  • when there is an order created on Shopify and the order changes the stock on a product, Shopify will notify the app and the app will update the stock, price, variants, title, description and images on Shopee.

Because we depend on Shopify to notify us, the Shopee (or Lazada) product might be out of sync when

  • when there is an outage on Shopify and they do not notify us of updates
  • when Shopee has an outage and does not accept our updates
  • when there is a promotion on Shopee. For more information please read: Syncing Limitations when Shopee Product is under promotion
  • when you go to Shopify Admin > Apps > Easy Shopee > Shopee Preference or Shopify Admin > Apps > Easy Shopee > Lazada Preferences and update the stock settings. For example, if you change the Shopify Location for the app.
