Price Matching Deprecated

We are slowly deprecating all the price matching features on the app and replacing them with price overrides. This means that,

• instead of the old way of adding a new product or using a discount to match prices with Shopee,
• the app can now use the same price as the Shopee Product on a Shopify Order.

For example with Price Matching (the old way)

• if the Shopee product is $10 and
• the Shopify Product is $19,
• the Shopify order will have 1 Shopify Product ($19) and 1 discount (-$9) so that the order will be $10 to match the Shopee Product.

With Price Overrides (the new way)

• if the Shopee product is $10 and
• the Shopify Product is $19,
• the app will be able to set the Shopify Order to $10 (the Shopee price).

Price Overrides have been enabled by default for all new Shopee users starting May 28 2026

Existing users with price matching enabled will continue to use price matching.
