Stock issues when Shopee Orders are 'Fulfilled by Shopee'

There might be stock issues because when an order is 'Fulfilled by Shopee' the stock is supposed to be taken out of the Shopee Warehouse not the Shopify Location. There are a few options to fix this.

If you do not care about tracking orders on Shopify

We recommend disabling importing orders into Shopify. Once orders are not imported into Shopify there will not be any stock changes on Shopify. To disable orders please read this: https://shopee-channel.helpscoutdocs.com/article/97-can-i-disable-importing-orders-from-shopee

If you need to track orders on Shopify

We recommend,

  1. Creating a new Shopify Location called "Shopee Warehouse"
  2. Enable the "Tag Fulfilled by Shopee on Shopify Orders" feature on https://admin.shopify.com/apps/shopee-channel/shopify/preferences
  3. then you will need to install and use Shopify Flow to manage it https://apps.shopify.com/flow
  4. Once you install Shopify Flow, you can prompt it by saying "when there is a new order with the "Fulfilled by Shopee" tag, fulfill it from the "Shopee Warehouse""
  5. it will then create an automation similar to this screenshot

We understand that this is a little complicated and you have to handle the order routing yourself. Shopify has strict order fulfillment rules that prevents the app from changing order fulfillment rules because it is not a fulfillment app.
