Using "Price Matching when Shopify Cheaper" when importing Shopee Orders

Price matching is a feature to make sure the Shopify order total matches the Shopee order total. When the Shopee product price is lower than the Shopify product price (for example, during a flash sale) the Shopify Order will use the Shopify price.

To enable the feature go to Shopify Admin > Apps > Easy Shopee > Shopee Preferences > Price Matching when Shopify Cheaper (see screenshot)

This feature offsets the price difference by adding a product on the Shopify order.

For example, let's say we have a bag,

  • The price of the bag on Shopify is $28, for 10 bags it is $280.
  • The price of the bag on Shopee is $29, for 10 bags it is $290.

On Shopee the order total is $290.

On Shopify the order total is $280.

The difference is $10.

When this feature is enabled the app will try to offset the price difference. The app will create a new, draft, non-taxable, non-shippable Shopify Product on your Shopify store and add it to the Shopify Order. So now

On Shopee the order total is $290.

On Shopify the order total is $280 + $10 = $290 (see screenshot)

This feature only works if the Shopee price is higher than the Shopify price. To adjust the order when Shopee price is lower than the Shopify price, go to Using "Price Matching when Shopee Cheaper" when importing Shopee Orders
