Why are TikTok product images cropped or missing?

The problem is that TikTok has 2 rules about images,

• images must be 3:4 ratio
• images must be > 300px

1. If the image is not 3:4, TikTok will automatically try to change it to 3:4. That is why the image you see is cropped.
2. After TikTok tries to change it to 3:4 and the image is smaller than 300px, then TikTok will reject the image. That's why some of the images are missing on the product page.

To fix #1 and #2 we suggest that you try to make images as close to 3:4 as possible. We understand this is a lot of work that's why we still let you add the product to TikTok even if it is not 3:4

To fix #2 we suggest that you upload images that are much larger than 300px, so that when it is cropped it will still be > 300px.
