Why are details from Shopee orders masked, we are having trouble matching orders
We're really sorry about this! To better protect their users privacy, Shopee recently started removing buyer names and phone numbers when they create orders.
We have complained to Shopee and this is what they said:
> Unfortunately, we will not be able to make an exception as this is part of strengthening our data security. This policy applies to all sellers, regardless of them using Seller Centre, Shopee App or any third party software vendors to manage their shops.
> You may advise the seller to use the buyer's address to do order matching. The reason why the buyer's address is not masked is so that the seller can still use it for order matching.
If you have a contact in Shopee, I recommend telling them about this issue and see if they can give you an exception.
