Why do the line item prices change on the Shopify order?

If you have enabled price matching or other order syncing settings that require setting a discount, you might notice that the line item prices are different. This is because Shopify shows different line item prices depending on whether it's fulfilled. For example:

if 

• a dress is $199 on Shopify but 
• $99 on Shopee
• and you have price matching enabled,

the app will add a $20 discount to the order to make sure the total amount is correct.

This is how it will look like on Shopify when it is unfulfilled.

The same order will look like this after it is fulfilled

Note that the line item prices are now different! But the total amount is still the same. I'm not sure why Shopify does it this way but let me know if you need any more help.
